Restaurants

Lunch and dinner don't sound the same. Ambsonic shifts the mood between services, so your team never has to think about it.

Cafés

Warm, unobtrusive music that lets people read, talk, and work. The room stays calm even when the queue isn't.

Hotels

Lobby, breakfast room, bar. One schedule that keeps the whole property sounding considered, from check-in to check-out.

Bars & Lounges

Easy-going early evenings that build into late-night energy, on a schedule you set once and stop worrying about.

Offices & Coworking

A gentle sound floor for receptions and shared areas. Present enough to lift the space, never enough to distract.

Clinics

Waiting feels shorter with the right music. Calm, steady playlists that reassure patients and soften the front-desk hum.

Retail Stores

Music that matches your brand in every store, whether you run one shop or twelve. No staff playlists required.

Grocery & Supermarkets

Steady, unhurried music for aisles and checkout that makes a big shop feel easy rather than rushed.

Salons & Barbershops

The soundtrack to a good haircut: lively enough to keep the room awake, soft enough to talk over.

Gyms & Fitness

Energy for the training floor that follows your class timetable, from morning spin to evening yoga.

Showrooms & Dealerships

First impressions are quiet things. Polished, confident music for sales floors, consultation desks, and waiting areas.

Spas & Wellness

Calm that doesn't sound like a screensaver. Textured ambient music for reception, treatment rooms, and everything between.

Music Isn't Just Background Noise

Peer-reviewed research shows that the right music directly impacts customer behavior and your bottom line.

The Problem

Most venues either play a consumer streaming app that was never meant for business use, pay too much for a legacy service with a stale catalog, or leave the choice to whoever opened up that morning. The room ends up sounding different every day, and nobody is quite sure the licensing is in order.

The Ambsonic Solution

A hand-picked library of instrumental tracks, sorted into moods and scheduled around your day. The music moves from morning calm to evening lounge on its own, the schedule runs itself, and the room sounds the way you decided it should.

Common Questions

Yes. Every Ambsonic plan includes a commercial license for the music in our library, so the tracks are cleared for playback in your venue. Our catalog is original and contains no works registered with any collecting society — our Licensing page explains the whole model in plain language, including country-specific notes and the written confirmation we issue for your venue.
Instrumental, hand-picked, and sorted into moods: jazz, acoustic, ambient, classical, chill electronic, Latin, and more. But don't take our word for it — scroll up to the mood previews and press play. Thirty seconds will tell you more than this paragraph can.
Ambsonic is web-based and works on any device with a browser — tablet, laptop, or phone. Cue and Flow are single-venue plans: one active playback device at a time per subscription. Multi-zone support (running music in separate areas simultaneously) is coming with the Venue plan.
You create a weekly schedule by assigning moods to time blocks for each day. For example: Acoustic Warmth from 8am–12pm, Jazz Café from 12pm–5pm, and Sunset Lounge from 5pm–close. Ambsonic transitions between moods automatically, and the auto-play feature starts and stops music based on your business hours.

As of April 17, 2026, Spotify's official support says Spotify is only for personal, non-commercial use and cannot be played publicly from a business. Apple's Media Services terms likewise say the services and content are for personal, noncommercial purposes only. Beyond that, consumer streaming apps are not venue-first tools: Ambsonic is built around scheduling, consistency, and day-to-day operational control.

Tanel, founder of Ambsonic

Why I Built Ambsonic

Before Ambsonic, I looked after computers and networks for business clients, starting back in 2004. Music ran alongside all of it, and somewhere along the way I began using it deliberately — to lift a mood, to hold a working pace, to wind down before sleep, to stay sharp on a long drive. Few things shape a moment as strongly as music does. I've also learned to steer clear of anything with aggressive energy; it says nothing to me.

The idea came to me in a café. I sat there wondering why a guest couldn't have any say in what was playing, or at least see what was on and what was coming next. We started building with that thought, ran into more problems than I can count, and came out the other side with a service I had never seen anywhere before. That café moment still lives in the product: the QR code that shows guests what's playing and lets them vote on it.

We make the music ourselves with the help of AI production tools, then sit down with friends and colleagues and listen. The tracks that fit go into the mood playlists; the rest don't make the cut. I live in Tartu, Estonia, where Ambsonic was started and where it's still built. My own favorite, for what it's worth: house.
